Canonum

Terms of Service

Last updated: February 2026

Acceptance

By using Canonum ("the Service"), you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
  • One account per person. Automated account creation is not permitted.
  • Users under 13 should have parental permission to use the Service.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the tier lists and other content you create on Canonum ("Your Content").

By posting content publicly, you grant Canonum a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote Your Content as part of the Service. This includes showing your tier lists on the Explore page, in search results, and in OG preview images when shared on social media.

You can delete Your Content at any time, which revokes this license for that content.

Remixing

When you make a tier list public, other users may "remix" it — creating their own copy with the same items to rank differently. Remixes link back to the original. By making a tier list public, you agree to allow remixing.

If you do not want your tier list to be remixed, set its visibility to private.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Post content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, or promotes violence
  • Impersonate other people or misrepresent your identity
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Service
  • Use automated tools to scrape content or create accounts
  • Upload malicious files or code
  • Use the Service to spam or for commercial advertising without permission

Moderation

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

Service Availability

Canonum is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that the Service will be error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canonum and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
